Valerie and Aurora (Val's Mom) came to visit. I've been emailing back and forth with Aurora since well before the birth and it was such a delight to hand her our sweet little son. She is a retired nurse who held lots of sick babies and knew all the best tricks. We hope she comes back soon and stays a long time!

Here is Val with her Mom.

Valerie is one of Boaz's Godparents and a fabulous Auntie.

Suzie is too of course!

Another Auntie that Boaz totally adores is Sherri Paris.

My back went out Christmas-eve and Sherri spent a lot of Christmas helping us out and getting to squeeze Bobo without all the "baby-hogs" (as she calls them) around.

This is Boaz's incredible Pediatrician, Dr. Block. Meeting this guy was one of the best things about being in the hospital. Sarah-Hope still comes over practically every day just to hold the little guy for a couple hours. Here she is practicing eye contact.

Teaching him important skills such as
swinging by his teeth.

Bobo "tough-guy" Peleg.

Boaz in his "body-bag" with his stuffed animals.

Me, Boaz and our new friends Julie and Brady. Brady was born about 2 weeks before Bobo.

Eli Vakni (Sharona and Simo's son), Boaz's designated big brother, is seventeen months old in this picture. Here he is, caught red-handed stealing Bobo's pacifier. We don't think Bobo cares much yet, especially since he is probably wearing all of Eli's hand-me-downs.
Dana and Boaz, Julie and Brady at Neary Lagoon. Hey Moms this is a perfect baby-stroller spot. Because it is 100% handicapped accessible, 2+ strollers can walk together through a park built on a peaceful lagoon. There are lots of ducks, occasional turtles and you kind of float on buoys which is comforting for the babies. The walk down to the lagoon from California and Bay is a bit hard to find. Go in through the park and then go down behind the water treatment plant.

Boaz's first "centerfold" shot.

One very windy day we took Sarah-Hope to the wharf to look at the seals.

Just this week he started grabbing everything.

He is pulling everything towards his mouth.

...and laughing and laughing.

A person can never have too many toys. Those chimes are from Adam, Anne and Benjamin. The magician bear is from Savta Rena and Saba Eliezer. We love and miss you all!

Sometimes he looks redheaded these days.

Here is Elsa pooping in what was once a beautiful plant. Lately she has been acting really needy. She has turned into one of those cats that need to be held a lot more. She insisted on staying locked in the garage today by climbing up to the highest rafters. Poor Elsa.

Honda Civic's new
hood ornament.

He sure does make me laugh sometimes!

...and I totally love this little guy.

Recently my Grandfather Joe passed away.

Our dear friend Tym stayed with Dana and Boaz while I went back to Youngstown Ohio for the funeral.

Tym is Boaz's Fairy Godfather.

Tym come back again soon!

Tym turned us on to a great old movie: Jacque's Demy's "Umbrella's of Charbourge (buy the DVD)". The photography is magnificent. It stars a very young Catherine Deneuve as an innocent enchantress and an adorable Nino Castelnuovo as a French...well...mench.

If you ever thought of bursting into song while buying gasoline, this is the musical you've been waiting for all your life. Step aside Grease.

Bobo sleeps again. Our sweet angel.

Dana is pictured here wearing the Moby wrap that Denis got us as a gift. Thanks Denis! This amazing device has freed us to walk longer distances with Boaz on our bodies. Here we are walking in Arana Gulch which is right behind our house.
A couple other nice nature shots from that beautiful winter day.

Boaz Wilde Peleg the great!

Actually, this picture is illusive. He tries to hold up the bottle himself but after a mere 3-5 seconds he usually lets it drop so we let him try and at the same time, we carefully watch him.

Wendi Jo is another great baby squeezer. Here she is
with Bobo at our local health food store: Staff of life.

Boaz, the almost movie (a 3.7 MB .mpg download). Oof. Instructions for download: Highlight the link above, right-click and choose "save-as" instead of trying to view this online. You can't see much in this clip but what is great about it is that you hear our friend Sarah-Hope playing a very sweet call and respond game with Boaz.

Computer geeks help!
For the life of me, I can't figure out how to convert from my digital camera's *.mov files (my only capture option) to *.mpg files without the stripes appearing that you see in this downloaded clip. Currently I'm using WinMPG video convert. I'm converting *.mov > *.avi's > *.mpg. Please email me if you have any hot tips. I've tried a bunch of products.
