These pictures were from late October, early November 2004.
I've also posted my
version of Bobo's
birth story. Here is the
index.
These days it is sort of hard to get pictures of
Dana when she isn't feeding him...

Look at
his hands. You can see that his right hand is already
fleshy but his left hand is still sort of "pruny" from his late birth. |

Kicking it with Mom. |

Our sweet sleeping
boy. |

Denis has volunteered
to be a relief member on our "power baby squeezing team". |
|
| |

Dana's Mom
(Rena) can hold him forever. |

This is Rena and Eliezer's first
grandchild. Look how much Bobo looks like Saba (grandpa). |
|
| |

Boaz loves his Savta (Grandma) and
spends many peaceful
hours on her lap. |

Monsieur Bobo! |

Sarah-Hope can never get enough which suits us fine
because we can never get enough of her either. |

Boaz usually sleeps the whole time
Sarah-Hope holds him. She thinks he is like this all the time but it is
now 5:06 AM and I hear the little guy crying again... |

Elsa (our cat) demands equal
time. |

Rebecca introduced
me and Dana in 1999. It was a real "shidduch". A laybn on dine kop Becca.
I've got the flu and Dana has
been taking care of Bobo 23.5 hours a day for a few days. It's lousy.
The 1/2 hour of covetous time I spent today with the little guy turned
into an acrobatic effort not to breathe on him.
Rebecca showed up tonight to
give Dana a break. Rebecca is one of those people who tends to be there
to lend a hand when you need it the most. Thanks Chica! |

Bobo's Pediatrician Dr. Block
gave him a set of 3 interlocking metal rings.
It is his favorite thing to stare at right now. |

Suz (and in fact, the whole Wouk
family) are such miracles in our lives. We love you all so much for
countless reasons. The camera that shoots these incredible digital
images was their gift to us for the birth. It is called a
Konica Minolta Dimage XG. I highly recommend it. |
Click on the camera and we will earn 1.5% if you decide to buy
it...it is multi-platform and also takes fabulous movies.

Yesterday we started going to this
free baby group at Sutter
Maternity clinic. It was great to meet other parents
and really interesting to watch everyone cope.
I was the only non-biological
birth parent who attended. A lot of the
hardships women discussed involved their incapable,
non-understanding or simply jealous husbands. I walked around
getting women water, holding their babies and doing all the stuff that
I do for Dana anyway so that my jaw wouldn't drop on the ground...
wondering how their partners can be so detached? Don't they love
their partners and kids?
I bet most of those women
wish that they
were raising their kids
with women.
I felt sorry for some of them.
Hey you Dad's get off the internet and give your wife a break! |
